Start by checking whether the profile is actually live. Search your exact business name in an incognito window. If nothing comes up, log into the Google Business Profile dashboard and look for a verification prompt or a suspension notice. Suspensions are common and usually tied to an address Google cannot confirm, a keyword stuffed business name, or a category that does not match what the website says. Fix the cause first, then file the reinstatement. Appealing without fixing anything gets you denied twice.
If the profile is live but you still cannot find yourself, you are probably testing wrong. Map results are personalized by where the searcher is standing. Searching from your kitchen two towns over will not show you what a customer in your target town sees. Use a tool that lets you check rankings from a specific point on a map, or ask a customer in that town what they see. Proximity is one of the strongest factors in local ranking and you cannot change it by posting more.
After that it is the boring work. Pick the single most accurate primary category, add secondary categories only for services you really perform, fill in every service with a real description, load current photos, and get reviews moving again. Then make sure your site has a real page for each service in each main town you want, not one page listing thirty cities. If you have no reviews in the last six months and three pages on the whole site, the map pack is not the problem.
Send the site over. We will tell you what is broken, what you could rank for, and whether AI search knows you exist. No charge and no pitch deck.
