There is no separate submission or setting for AI Overviews. They are generated from Google's own index, and the pages cited are usually ones that rank on the first page or two for the query or something very close to it. So the entry ticket is ordinary ranking work: a page that genuinely targets the question, technically sound, internally linked, on a site with some real local authority behind it.
From there, formatting decides whether you get quoted. Use the question as a heading, answer it in one or two sentences immediately underneath, then expand with the detail. Keep paragraphs short. Use lists for steps and specifications. Add FAQPage, LocalBusiness and Service schema wherever it honestly applies. Make sure the key facts live in text rather than baked into an image or left inside a video nobody transcribed.
Expect inconsistency. Google changes which queries trigger an Overview, which sources it shows, and how prominently, so your appearance can come and go without you touching anything. Measure across months, not days. Also watch your click data on queries where Overviews appear, because you can hold the ranking and still lose visits. That trade off is real, and it is worth planning around rather than arguing with.
Send the site over. We will tell you what is broken, what you could rank for, and whether AI search knows you exist. No charge and no pitch deck.
