Get ahead of the opening. Build a page for the new area months early, set up local tracking, and only verify a new Google Business Profile once the location is real with staff and signage. Keep business details consistent and make collecting reviews from the first installs there a priority.
A second HVAC location works best when people can already find you there on day one. Start by building a service page for the new area on your existing website. Explain the climate and system concerns there, any local utility rebates, permit requirements for system replacements, and your plan for response times. If you are already running a few calls into that area from your main shop, use those jobs for photos and reviews. That gives Google and AI tools a reason to associate you with the new market before the doors open.
Once the branch has a real address, staff and signage, verify a separate Google Business Profile for it. Use the correct categories, hours and a local number if you plan to use one. Then make sure the new location's name, address and phone match exactly on your website, Yelp, BBB, Apple Maps, Bing and Nextdoor. Inconsistent details confuse both search engines and AI assistants. Give the location its own page on your website with directions, the team, and the services offered from that branch.
Plan for the slow start. A new profile has no reviews, so it will not compete with established shops right away. Ask every customer from the new branch for a review, post photos weekly, and consider running ads or Local Services Ads in that area while organic visibility builds. Track calls separately for each location so you can see when it starts carrying its own weight. Heights Digital handles new location pages and profile setup within our monthly plan, and multi location programs start at $1,750 a month for companies growing faster.
