How visible are you to AI search?

• Your business name, address and phone match everywhereGoogle Business Profile, your site footer, your schema, directories and social profiles all say exactly the same thing.
• Your site has LocalBusiness or a more specific schema typeAnd the subtype matches what you actually are, not a generic catch-all.
• Every service you sell has its own pageNot one services page listing twelve things. An engine cannot cite a bullet point.
• Your pages answer questions in the first sentenceQuestion-shaped heading, then the answer immediately under it. Not three paragraphs of warm-up.
• You have a real FAQ section with FAQPage schemaQuestions people actually ask, answered in 40 to 70 words each.
• Your Google Business Profile has been touched in the last 30 daysPhotos, a post, a Q and A answer, or a review response. A dormant profile fades.
• You respond to reviews, including the bad onesResponse rate and recency are both visible signals.
• You are listed on the directories your industry actually usesNot two hundred junk directories. The handful that matter for your trade and your city.
• Your site loads fast on a phone on cell serviceNot on your office wifi on a desktop.
• You publish something new at least monthlyA site that never changes stops being crawled often.
• You have checked what ChatGPT actually says about your businessMost owners have never once asked. Go ask it.
• Your site has an llms.txt or a clean machine-readable summaryCheap to add, still early, no reason not to.
• Your schema matches the visible content on the pageMarkup that claims things the page does not say gets ignored or worse.
• Internal links point at your most important pagesIf nothing links to a page, nothing thinks it matters.
• You can name the five searches that actually bring you workIf you cannot, nobody is optimizing for them.

Scoring is weighted. The checks that move AI citations most are worth more than the ones that are merely good hygiene.
