Google completed the move to mobile-first indexing across the web, and Googlebot now crawls primarily as a smartphone. With a responsive site, which serves the same HTML to every device, there is nothing extra to manage. Problems appear when the mobile experience differs from desktop: content hidden or stripped out on small screens, images or structured data omitted, different internal links, or a separate mobile subdomain that was never kept in sync. Whatever the mobile version contains is what gets indexed, regardless of how complete the desktop page looks.
This is more than a technical note for a service business, because most searches for urgent local services happen on a phone. Check your own site the way a customer does: on a phone, on cellular data, standing outside. Is the phone number tappable near the top. Does the form work with a thumb. Did the page builder hide your service details behind an accordion that never opens. A site that reads well on a laptop and is unusable on a phone is losing both rankings and calls at the same time.
Send the site over. We will tell you what is broken, what you could rank for, and whether AI search knows you exist. No charge and no pitch deck.
