Have you ever wondered why your videos are not gaining any views at all? If you have ads showing in your videos and unexpectedly not showing any at all, there are factors that YouTube found that can demonetize your videos.

The words you used on your title, description, and tags could be the culprit. Be on the lookout for these words that can cause a yellow sign on your videos.

Emily, the COO of Heights Digital Media cited some of the words that are a no-no.

  1. Your name.
    – unless you have a million followers, don’t flatter yourself. No one is searching for your name on search engine sites.

    2. The date of your video
    – yes, not even “July 4th with the Sheffield family.” Again, unless you have 1m followers no one cares what you did for July 4th. Sorry.

    3. Something dumb and vague. “How do I pick a career?” “How do I find my life’s purpose?” “Which car is right for me?” Don’t do it…Please…

    4. “Zoom call with Betty Sue.” Absolutely NO to zoom call YouTube videos and a HUGE “no” to putting someone else’s name in your title. Unless you’re talking to the President no one cares. Let’s just agree to steer clear of names, ok?

    5. A clickbait title like “MY BIGGEST TIP FOR REAL ESTATE!” Too vague. Not searchable. When you’re just building your subscribers no one will pay attention to your biggest tips. You haven’t built enough of a following yet.
