Have you heard of TikTok? Chances are you’ve heard of it unless you’re living under a rock. But what benefit is there to being on TikTok for a business owner. On a platform that seems centered around teens and young adults – most of whom are doing viral dances – where do businesses fit in?

For starters, small businesses have a great opportunity to showcase their brand at an organic level. ORGANIC is the key word here. Facebook, Instagram and Twitter have all grown to such a large userbase and saturation point that organic reach on the platform is nearly impossible. This is largely due to their desire to funnel the user into resorting to purchasing ads or boosted posts to get attention. But this isn’t the case with TikTok – yet.

If you can get into a platform EARLY – and build a brand for your business, showcase your personality, and build a following…then you’d be stupid not to do so.
